Norma Jean Ward, 86, left to be with the Lord on August 22, 2011 in Wichita Falls. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas with Johnny Harrison, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Norma was born on August 17, 1925 to Irwin and Frieda (White) Randall in Agra, Kansas. Norma graduated from Agra High School in 1944. She moved to Texas and married Claude P. Ward, Jr. on September 4, 1947. To this union two children were born; a son, Stephen Randall and a daughter Claudia Jean.

Norma was a homemaker and her family was her pride and joy. Norma was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her family, Norma enjoyed sewing, embroidery, reading and watching football and baseball. She will be sadly missed by her family, her many nieces, nephews and her dog, Bella.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Claude; a son Stephen; a sister Shirley Buss and a great granddaughter Baylee Lloyd. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Mosier of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren: Stephen Allen Ward of Wichita Falls, Texas, Bobby Lloyd of Carrollton, Texas, Amy Jo Toliver of Wichita Falls, Texas, Ryan Alan Mosier and Jennifer Marie Mosier, both of Houston, Texas; four great grandchildren: Tyler Lloyd, Jada Mosier, Kristen Toliver and Kendall Toliver; two brothers, Bud Randall and wife Doris of Grand Junction, Colorado and Bill Randall and wife Janice of Kirwin, Kansas; four sisters: Bonnie Davis of Highland Ranch, Colorado, Lila Bryant of Pueblo, Colorado, Leatrice Hanks of Agra, Kansas and Pat Martin and husband John of Eureka, Kansas and numerous nieces, nephews and families.

The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6-7 PM, for visitation.

Note-Parents Frieda Marie White Randall-buried Agra, Phillips, Kansas Family tree gives name of father as Irwin Roosevelt Randall died August 27, 1979-found a William date of death 1979 in Agra Cemetery.
