Louis Liske, father of the Liske boy who died recently of diphtheria, died at his home on the north side of the river at midnight Tueday(sic) night of bowel trouble from which he had suffered some time. He had been in fairly good health a few days before his death when he was taken suddenly ill Monday and nothing could be done to save his life. Mr. Liske leaves a wife and eight children, four boys and four girls. Two children are dead. The wife and children have the sympathy of the community in their affliction. The family had just recovered from the diphtheria and the death of the father at this time falls heavily on the family.
