Donald M. Charette, 74, of South Windsor, passed away at his home on Tuesday evening, July 19, 2011. Donald was born in Eagle Lake, ME on May 22, 1937 to the late Delma (Russell) and John Baptiste Charette. Donald served his country in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force and worked for Fafnir Bearings in Newington for over 35 years. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Theresa (Melo) Charette and their three children, Donald M. Charette, Jr. of South Windsor, Karen M. Charette of South Windsor, and Cynthia A. Francoeur (Alan) of East Hartford; two sisters and two brothers; and two grandsons, Michael Charette of South Windsor and Steven Charette of East Hartford. He was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
