James C. Surrett, aged 64, died at his residence on Anniston Rt. 3 this morning at 1:45 o'clock.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Church of God on Glen Addie conducted by Rev. L.B. Hall. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, four sons; Willie Surrett, Charles Surrett and Clarence Surrett, all of Anniston, and S.D. Surrett of the U.S. Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Cal Jones of Oakland, Calif.; three brothers, Lee Surrett of Dallas, Tex., Floyd Surrett of Oklahoma and F.M. Surrett of Anniston; a sister, Mrs. Della Leggin of Hillsboro, Tex., and 13 grandchildren.
Jones Funeral Home will have charge.
