He was a retired railroad engineer, and a member of the McKey Masonic Lodge, London, Ky. He was a protestant. Survivors include his wife Flora Lee; three sons, John R., Interlachen, William A., Ocala, and Kenneth M., Hernando; two daughters, Dorothy B. Baker, Cleveland, Tenn., and Freda J. Robbins, Fairfield, Ohio; three brothers, Willie, James H. and Ranee J., all of London, Ky.; three sisters, Emma Robinson, Norwalk, Ohio, Nuba Patton, London, Ky., and Dessie M. Wyatt, Fairfield; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services and burial will be in London, Ky. Hooper Funeral Home, Inverness, in charge of local arrangements.
