Wm. Lewis Ebersole, age 78, of County Road 179, Fredericktown, Ohio passed away on Monday June 2, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on August 4, 1929 in Fredericktown, Ohio to the late Leland and Florence (Robinson) Ebersole. Lewis co-owned and operated the Ebersole Custom Butchering near Chesterville, Ohio for over forty years. Lewis will be remembered by many in Chester Township as the "Good Neighbor" always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by a son, Scott (Jennifer) Ebersole of Delaware, Ohio, three daughters, Peggy (Robert) Jenkins of Fredericktown, Ohio, Teresa (Kim) Waggoner of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Lora (Mark) Burge of Cardington, Ohio, seven grandchildren, a great grandson, four brothers, Lloyd (Betty) Ebersole of Fredericktown, Ohio, Ernest (Patty) Ebersole of Chesterville, Ohio, Robert (Betty) Ebersole of Cochran, Georgia, Richard (Judy) Ebersole of Fredericktown, Ohio, four sisters, Lillian Lower of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Ruth Reeder of Butler, Ohio, Bonnie Hobson of Ashland, Ohio and Aileen Bishop of Fredericktown, Ohio.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Mae (Snyder) Ebersole and a sister, Vivian Ebersole Morris.
