My Uncle James was my Daddy's brother. James married my Mother's niece. She was my mother's brother Frank's oldest daughter. Are you still with me?

James Jones and Eula Mae Grider married. It was a happy marriage.
Eula Mae gave birth to their first child, Bruce Lee Jones, Nov. 1941. They were so happy and proud of their new baby boy, however, Eula Mae never recovered from the birth.

The baby was very healthy but his Mother was not. She died when he was just two weeks old. She had so much to live for. I never met her, I was born 3 months after her death. I love her very much though.

Uncle James joined the Marines to serve his Country. He married a sweet woman, whose name was Ethel Reed. They had several children; Joyce Neal Jones, Eva Mae Jones, Donnie Ray Jones, Judy Gail Jones, and there is one or two I haven't met.

James's first son Bruce, was raised by my beautiful Grandmother, Lois Jones. Bruce and I are 1st and 2nd cousins.

James, like all his other brothers, died of a heart attack. He was found slumped over the wheel of his truck in a parking lot in London, KY.

He was the only brother of six who, after going to Indiana for work, returned to his beloved Kentucky home, where he earned a living by farming and raising livestock.

He was a good man and loved his family very much. He is missed by all who knew him.
