Sherman Emory Grossman, 82, of Brady Township, Slippery Roack R.D. 1, died at 6:30 p.m. yesterday in Orchard Manor, Grove City.
Born in Brady Township, Butler County, Aug. 16, 1896, he was the son of Richard B. and Mary Etta Campbell Grossman.
He was a self-employed farmer and a graduate of Slippery Rock State Normal School (now State College).
Surviving are four daughters, Geraldine Webb, Thelma Bell, Alma Dally, and Lydia Book; and two sons, Richard E. and Sherman Grant Grossman.
Private burial services for Sherman Emory Grossman of Brady Township, Slippery Rock, who died Wednesday May 16, 1979, will be held Friday morning in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
