Ms. Mendenhall was the daughter of the late A.D. Mendenhall and the late Laura Howie Mendenhall. She was the First Baptist Church choir director, pianist, missionary and oldest living member.
She is survived by sister, Irene Mendenhall of Concord; nephews, Rev. Lawrence Carvana Sr. and wife, Barbara of Pfafftown and Rev. Angelo Carvana of Greensboro; five great-nieces; and 10 great-nephews.
