PFC George Turney Sr., was a courageous American Soldier who served his country proudly In North Korea, during World War II. A few years after the war, he returned Stateside and there he met Barbara. The two married and had six 6 children. George worked as a plumber In Chattanooga, Tn for many years at Keefe Plumbing Until he was no longer able because of a diagnosis, and complications of throat Cancer.
He fought hard his illness but In 1984, George Turney Sr. Died. The loss of his passing is mourned by his wife Barbara Turney, his children Thaddeus(now deceased),George Jr., Robert, Emanuel, Barbara, and Renee. left to mourn his passing as well are an entire generation of Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren. His final resting place is located at the National Cemetery In Chattanooga, Tn. Though He passed away This Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Soldier, shall always be remembered as kind, Courageous, hard working, Serious yet HUMOROUS, and dedicated to an entire family who will always be honored to say that he belonged to them all.
