Lewis Yount, 91, of Greenville R. R. 2, died at Wayne Hospital here Tuesday afternoon after a short illness from a complication of diseases.

Mr. Yount, who lived with a son, Levi, two miles south of Gettysburg, had spent his entire life in that vicinity and was active in farming pursuits for more than a half-century. He was a member of the Pleasant View Church.

He leaves six other sons, Leonard of Grand Island, Nebraska; Howard, Arcanum R. R. 2; Rufus, of Piqua; Theodore and Lester, both of Bradford R. R.; and Isaac, of Troy; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Hupman, Greenville R. R. 2; and Mrs. Hazel Clingman, Dayton; 30 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at two p.m. at the Pleasant View Church, with the Rev. Lester Snider and the Rev. Pettit officiating. Burial will be in Abbottsville Cemetery.

The body is at the Miller Funeral Home in Gettysburg, where friends may call after noon Thursday.
