W. Laird France, 24 years, son of the late Ray France of Vandergrift, was struck and killed by ligtning, Sunday, March 2o, near Eureka, Kans. He leaves his wife and a six months old son, also two brothers, S. A. and Norwood, and one sister, Mrs. Virginia Robertson, all of Kansas.

The body was brought to the home of his uncle, C.D. France, Wednesday evening, and funeral services conducted today at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed in Vandergrift Cemetery.
