POLLOCK — Services for John "Benny" Sanders will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bob Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack West officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville.

Sanders, 65, of Pollock died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1996, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was an off shore steward, a Baptist and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Audine Sanders of Pollock; two stepdaughters, Genelle Pepper of West Monroe and Sharon Tarrantola of Kansas City, Mo.; two half brothers, Dick Blackstock of Ruston and Billy Blackstock of West Monroe; three half sisters; four stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of services Monday in the church.
