ZAKRZEWSKI--At the home in town of Middle River, on Monday, May 30th, Frank Zakrzewski, at the age of 82 years.
Deceased had been a resident of this county for thirteen years. He was born in Poland and came to the United States in 1873. He leaves and aged widow and five sons and three daughters to mourn his demise. Mr. Ignacy Zakrzewski of Strandquist, this county, is a son of the deceased.
The funeral took place on Wednesday from the Catholic church in this city, the Rev. Father L. M. Boisseau officiating, and the remains were intered [sic] in the Argyle cemetery.

The marriage record for his first marriage to Marianna Zagorska in October 1864 (Brodnica, Poland) gave his age as 23. Marianna's age was 19. His age was reported as 27 in them record of his second marriage to Antonina Antoszewska in 1870. A record of Frank's baptism has not been found in the Brodnica parish records. Research continues.
The 1910 obituary does not mention Frank's first wife, Marianna Zagorska, who died in 1870--before Frank immigrated to America.
Frank and his second wife, along with two children from his first marriage, immigrated to America about 1873.
The family moved from Detroit, MI to Ashton, NE before moving to Marshall County, MN about 50 years earlier [obituary of son (Ignacy), 1946]

The other family was headed by Wojciech [Adalbert] Zakrzewski (1840–1915). His birth location of Ocwieka, Gąsawa, (Żnin) Bydgoszcz, Poland, is approximately 90 miles from Brodnica, Poland, where Frank and his first wife were married.
