William Simons, 63, of 638 Fairfield Rd., died at 7 a.m. today at the City Hospital following an illness of six years.
He was born in Pittsburgh June 17, 1904 and lived in Alliance 50 years.
Mr. Simons retired six years ago as a machinist for the Alliance Machine Co.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Schmidt Simons of the home; a son, William Jr. of Alliance; three daughters, Mrs. Donald Hons amd Mrs. Floyd Roose, both of Alliance and Miss Carolee Simons of the home; a sister, Mrs. JoAnne Knittel of Solon; three brothers, John Flood of Alliance and Thomas and Andrew Flood, both of Sebring; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Mrs. JoAnn Hons, died in June 1957.
