Mrs. Elizabeth Mayrose Runnebaum, wife of Anthony Runnebaum, died on Friday at their residence in Prescott, in the seventy-first year of her age. She was stricken with paralysis about six weeks ago, from which she never recovered, and last Wednesday a second stroke came, resulting in her death this morning at nine o'clock. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Mayrose. She was married to Mr. Anthony Runnebaum about forty-eight years ago. To them were born ten children, nine of whom survive her, they are, Mrs. Mary Peters, Brookville; Mrs. Elizabeth Engsel, Cincinnati, O.; Mrs. Carrie Ost, Oklahoma; Mrs. Rose Grove, Cincinnati, O., Mrs. Anna Fisher, Prescott, and Miss Dena Runnebaum, Barry Runnebaum, deceased, John Runnebaum, of Cincinnati, Andy and Frank Runnebaum, of Prescott. Mrs. Runnebaum and wife moved here from St. Marys, Franklin county, about thirty-five years ago and located on a farm near Prescott, where they reared their family. Recently they moved to Prescott and were living there at the time of her death. Mrs. Runnebaum was a member of the Catholic church and was a good woman and respected by all who knew her. She died with her children and husban at her bedside. The funeral took place at the St. Vincent church Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Father Bauer preached the funeral.
