90, Head of St. Margarets Bay, died December 1, 1992, in the home of her daughter, Muriel Shatford. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Mary Ann (Blanch) Murray. She was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and active in the ACW. In later years, she attended the United Baptist Church. She was a cook at Rainbow Haven for several years. She resided in Lakeside for many years, moving to Liverpool where she owned a convenience store, then moved to St. Margarets Bay for the remainder of her life. She is survived by six daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Jarvis Thompson), Lakeside; Dolly (Mrs. Earl Morash), Chester Basin; Jean (Mrs. Percy Pay), Aylesford; Mary (Mrs. James Marriott), Betty (Mrs. Wylie Minick), Muriel (Mrs. Desmond Shatford), all of Head of St. Margarets Bay; brother, Howard, Sackville; sister, Dot (Mrs. Laurie Thorbourne), Liverpool; 29 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Rollie; son, Murdock; three brothers, Gus, Jack, Ted; half-sister, Jennie; infant sister, Winnie.
