Mrs. Flora Belle Greene, 83, of North Wilkesboro, died Monday, August 4, at the Vespers Nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Greene was born in Watauga County September 10, 1902 to Clinard and Nannie Greene. She was a member of the Stony Fork Baptist Church in Watauga County.
Surviving are her husband, Willie Lawrence Greene, one son, four daughters, two brothers, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Stony Fork Baptist Church. The Reverends Vernon Eller, Raytee Greene and Jim Gora will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
