Harriet Gazelda Mullins was born 4 May 1865 to James Ezra and Maria Katherine (Bissicomer) Mullins. According to the 1870 and 1880 US census', James and Maria had 6 children, born between 1862 and 1879. In 1870 James was farming; in 1880 he was a carpenter.
On 7 February 1884, Hattie married Charles Wilson Adair. They lived in Noble County until the mid-1890's when they headed West. They settled near Loomis in Okanogan County, Washington. There they raised stock and hay and six children.
Charles and Hattie moved to Port Orchard in the 1930. She died 20 April 1937 and he followed 19 months later on 19 November 1938

Blanche Pearl Adair Owens (18 Jun 1887 – Feb 1975, married Ralph Owens),
