Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 7 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elena Mae D. Rink; his children, Gary F. Rink and wife, Lisa, Bonnie Thibodaux and husband, Randy, Amanda Rink and Leroy Cortez Jr., Sabrina Rink, and Adley Rink Jr. and wife, Jeannie; and 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Rink and Azalie Hebert Rink; one son, Johnathon "Poncho" J. Rink; and three brothers, Norbert Rink Sr., Robert Rink and James Rink.
