Fischer Services Will Be Wednesday

Services will be Wednesday afternoon for 78-year old August Fischer who died early Sunday at his home near Cecil. He had been ill for 8 days.

Rites are set for 1:30 p.m. at the Fischer home and at 2 p.m. at White Clay Lake Lutheran church, with Rev. F. C. Benecke officiating.

Mr. Fischer was born Sept. 10, 1872, in Dodge county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Fischer. On Nov. 1, 1899, he was married to Ella Bahr at White Clay Lake. They lived on a farm just north of Cecil for more than 50 years.

Survivors are his wife, four sons, William of the town of Underhill, Paul, on the home farm, August of Suring, Edward of Gillett route 1; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Three children, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Pallbearers will be Chas. Matthews, Pete Thiex, Wm. Lieskow, Frank Motte, Christ Fischer, and Herman Bahr.

Friends may call at the Fischer farm home from this afternoon until the services. The Bocher Funeral Home of Cecil has charge of the arrangements.

Burial will be at church cemetery.
