Mary L was (a widow to John St Clair) Mary had one daughter from John, named Mary St Clair as seen on Peter's census records. Mary St Clair, her married name was Sivert, her DC from Marshall Co WV names her mother as Mary Lucinda Morton. Peter's first wife was Ellen Monteith. Peter had children with both wives. Robert Sherman Gatts was my family line with Mary Lucinda Morton married to Peter March 14-1861. There appears to be a mistake on the DC of Robert Sherman Gatts naming his mother as Mary L. Mcwhorter. They also got his middle initial wrong as (G). He died in Glen Dale, Marshall co. according to Bissel funeral home his body was sent by train to Kent OH where he was buried at Standing Rock Cem. His information on the stone is correct. A year later his wife Amanda Jane died at my grandfathers home in Berlin Heights OH and was buried next to him at Standing Rock cem in Kent OH. (by Roslyn Gatts)
