Col. Benjamin Franklin Chisholm was the son of John "Red Buck" Chisholm. He was my gggg uncle. His first wife was Didama Boren and they had one daughter, Jennie Nancy. His second wife was Margaret Allen and they had two boys, Rufus and Joseph Bryon. They died young after eating poisonous roots. He came from Alabama to Texas to be with his brother Enoch Parsons Chisholm, Sr. His headstones reads November as his date of birth. But he was actually born in January. ∼"A Confederate Soldier".
