Franklin F. Unangst, 72, of 117 Meadow River Drive, Liverpool, died Monday at Crouse Hospital.
Born in Allentown, Pa., he lived in Liverpool 34 years.
Mr. Unangst was a setup man for Carrier Corp. for 36 years, retiring in 1981.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and was a member of the 456 Bomb Squadron Association.
Mr. Unangst was a 12-gallon blood donor with the Red Cross and an Orange Pack fan.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Marilyn Kriesel; three sons, Thomas and F. Joseph, both of Liverpool, Mark of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Lorraine Beaslewy of Glendale, Ariz., and Deborah Unangst of Syracuse ; a brother, Russell of Allentown; two sisters, Betty Noll and Geraldine Smith, both of Allentown; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A sister, Doris Bechtel, died previously.
Services are 10:15 a.m. Friday at Maurer Funeral Home, Liverpool, and 11 a.m. in Christ The King Church, the Rev. Jon Werner officiating. Burial is in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 300 Second St., Liverpool.
