Jesse Vanderhoof Survived by Widow and 12 children
Jesse Vanderhoof, an early resident of Weber county, died Saturday morning at 5:30
o'clock at the family residence in Snowville, Box Elder County. The family formerly
lived at North Ogden where he was a blacksmith until the family moved to Snowville.
Mr. Vanderhoof was born on August 23, 1847, and was the father of 15 children, of whom
12 are living. He is survived by his widow, Lerona Minerva Hickman Vanderhoof, and the
following children: Hulda Homes, Ogden; Katherine ? Wells, Wilmington, Calif.; Jesse
Vanderhoof, Wells, Nev.; Giles Vanderhoof, Sparks, Nev.; Jane E. Burk, Big Sandy, Mont.;
Grace Shaw, Edith Hurd, Stone, Idaho; Esther Perault, Washington; Warren Vanderhoof,
Holbrook, Idaho; May Showell, Snowville; Artie Bean, Proccer, Wash.; Maud Hurd,
Snowville.
The funeral will be helad at Snowville. The date will be announced later.
