Former Utah Woman Summoned By Death

Jane Vanderhoof Godfrey Burke, 50, former resident of North Ogden, died January 12, in Big Sandy, Montana.

Mrs. Burke was born in North Ogden, the daughter of Jess L. and Lerona Vanderhoof. She was educated in the public schools of Ogden and attended Weber academy.

She married Reuben Godfrey of North Ogden, who died, and she later married Harry Patrick Burke of Big Sandy, Mont., who survives her, in addition to two children, Charles Reuben Godfrey, in the Air Service at Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas, and Walter Jess Godfrey, Big Sandy, Mont. The following brothers and sisters also survive; Hulda Holmes, Ogden; Kate F. Wells, Wilmington, Calif.; Mrs. Arta Bean and Mrs. Esther Perrault, both of Prosser, Wash.; Mrs. Grace Shaw, Ogden; Mrs. Mae Showell and Warren Vanderhoof, Stone, Idaho; Mrs. Edith Hurd and Maude Hurd, both of Snowville, Utah; Giles Vanderhoof, Sparks, Nev.; Jess Vanderhoof, Roseville, Calif.

Funeral services were held in Big Sandy, where Mrs. Burke had resided since 1900. She was a member of the L.D.S. church.
