Harmon Cook, 67, died at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday in the Pekin Public hospital where he had been a patient a week, having been in failing health for the last two years.

Funeral services will be held in the Christian Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. A. L. Bradbury of Washburn in charge, assisted by the Rev. L. A. Crown of Mackinaw. Burial will be in the Mackinaw Cemetery.

He was born in Deer Creek township April 2, 1876, the son of Harmon and Margaret Robison Cook. He married Miss Hattie Elizabeth Parker November 13, 1898 in Deer Creek, and had lived most of the time since in Mackinaw where he worked as a laborer. His wife preceded him in death August 25, 1927.

He is survived by three sons, Shelby, Mackinaw; Nelson and Edwin, Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Aldridge, Pekin; three brothers, Elmer, Iowa; Francis, Deer Creek; Martin, Mackinaw, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Lay, Tremont. There are three grandchildren. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
