Levi Eicher Tissue, 84, a retired farmer of Stewart township, died at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday night at the home of this daughter, Mrs. Nina Skinner at Confluence, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Tissue, a lifelong resident in the vicinity of Mill Run, was born August 6, 1861, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Tissue. He is survived by his widow, four sons, Filbert and Clyde of South Connellsville and Leland and Ralph of Mill Run; eight daughters, Mrs. Ethel Joy of Connellsville, Mrs. Willma Peters and Mrs. Gladys Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Nina Skinner of Confluence, and Mrs. Bessie Skinner, Mrs. Hilda Bryner, Mrs. Goldie Hay, all of Mill Run, 32 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home of his son, Leland, at Mill Run, with Rev. M.T. Hullhan, pastor of the Mill Run Baptist Church, officiating. Internment will be made in the church cemetery in charge of Funeral Director Clyde B. Brooks of Indian Head.
