Austin E Tissue, 72 years old, well known resident of Bear Run, died at his home Sunday evening at 5 o'clock following an illness of complication of diseases.

Mr. Tissue was born at Bear Run, Stewart township, on February 10, 1859, the son of the late Peter and Harriet Eicher Tissue, and spent his entire life in that vicinity. He was a farmer. On October 19, 1895, he was married to Lavina Johnson of Uniontown. He is survived by his wife, and the following children: Mrs. Sherman Nicholson of Ohiopyle, Mrs. Russell Harbaugh of Carmichaels, Greene county, and Della and Harry, at home. There are three grandchildren, John A. Nicholson of Ohiopyle, J. Austin and Eleanor Harbaugh of Charmichaels. Levi Tissue of Bear Run is a brother.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home. Internment will be made in Mill Run Baptist Cemetery. Friends and relatives of the family are invited to the home for the service.
