LIFE-LONG RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES AT 78 YEARS
Funeral Services for C.A. Raymond Held Wednesday; Burial in East Dayton Cemetery.

C.A. Raymond, who spent all of his nearly 78 years in Tuscola County, died Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Seeley in Caro of heart disease. He had been ill for about three weeks. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Beyette Funeral Home, Rev. W.H. Clark officiating, with burial in East Dayton Cemetery.

Mr. Raymond was born March 30, 1860, in Wells Township, and was married to Ida May Lee, who died August 8, 1937. He was a farmer in Wells Township for many years before retiring to live in Caro.

Surviving are three children, Harry Raymond of Glendo, Wyoming, Mrs. Retta Linabury, Detroit, and Mrs. Lefe Shingleton, Washington, Michigan. He also leaves two brothers, Frank of Caro, and Bert of Vassar; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Rose, Detroit.
