Mrs. Matilda Rupp died at the family residence 256 North First West Street, Wednesday morning, after an illness of two weeks.

She was born in Salt Lake, February 26, 1868, the daughter of Jessie and Isabella West. She has been a resident of Salt Lake all her life.

Mrs. Rupp is survived by the following children; Mrs. J. E. Johnson, Mrs. Hattie Smith, Mrs. D.O. Johnson, Miss Lavaun Rupp and Mrs. Grant Snow, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. William Jensen of Brigham City; J. M. Rupp, Burton W. and Alma Rupp of Los Angeles, California and twenty-three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Seventeenth ward chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary chapel of Joseph William Taylor, 125 North Main Street, Thursday evening and at the family residence, 256 North First West street, Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. The interment will be in the City cemetery.
