Myrtle I Wilde Staley, 85, died Wednesday evening at a local hospital following a stroke.

She was born March 6, 1891 at Almy, Wyoming., the daughter of Charles Henry and Mary Nelson Bruce Peterson.

They lived in Smoot, Wyo., and she attended schools there.

She was married to Clarence H. Wilde, Oct. 4, 1911 in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple. They moved to Ogden, Utah in 1926, and to Idaho Fall in Jan. 1930.

Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 20, 1945.

She was married to Charles Staley, Dec. 4, 1952 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

They moved to Grass Valley, Calif in 1952 and returned to Idaho Falls in April, 1984. Mr. Staley died Nov. 6, 1974. Many years ago she worked at a local drug store as a clerk. During World War II she worked at Rogers Brothers.
