MY Aunt
Laura Becton grew up in Pinetta, Florida. She was the sister-in-law of my Father-in-law.She married Buddy Barwick 20 Dec 1944 Lowndes County Georgia. When my husbands Mother died in childbirth, Aunt Laura and her husband Uncle Buddy moved in with them. She cared for the children. She was pregnant at the time with her first son. Uncle Buddy died at age 46 and she raised their three sons and never re-married.
She fell in early spring 2011 and broke her hip. She was not able to have surgery and had been in nursing facility until her death Aug 8.
The memories of her will never be forgotten because of the contribution she played in the early years of my husbands life.
