Services for Leb Butler, 92 of Grand Saline, were held at 1 p.m., June 7, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Homer Morgan and Bro. Norman "Sonny Boy" Butler officiating.

Interment followed in Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Mr. Butler passed away June 4, 2011 in Grand Saline.

He was born September 25, 1918 in Lone Oak to Frank James and Barbara Christopher Butler. He lived all of his life in Van Zandt County where he was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Grand Saline Masonic Lodge; was 33 1/3 Scottish Rite, retired from Ford Motor Co. after 21 years of service and also retired from LTV after 10 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Leo, and Leon Butler; and sisters, Julia Littlejohn, Letha Stone and Dorothy Monk.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Marie Butler; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Leb Butler and wife Essie all of Grand Saline; daughters and son-in-law, Patsy Marie Smith and husband Glenn, Golden and Billie Turner, Wills Point; brother and sister-in-law, Norman "Sonny Boy" Butler and wife Betty of Grand Prairie; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Todd Turner, Tracy Turner, Brian Turner, Larry Butler, Robert Littlejohn, James Butler and Alan Duckworth.
