Services for Letha Butler Stone, 94, of Edgewood, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday March 13, 2011 at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Norman Butler & Bro. Homer Morgan officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Creagleville Cemetery, Grand Saline, TX.
She passed away March 11, 2011 in Edgewood, TX.
Mrs. Stone was born August 16, 1916 in Lone Oak, TX, to Frank James and Levery Barbari Christopher Butler.
Charter member of RoundFlat Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed fishing, canning, gardening, sewing, quilting and watching wrestling. She was a great cook also enjoyed traveling, went to Nashville to the Grand Ole Opry when she was 90 years old. She loved her family and her Lord and she will be greatly missed .
Letha was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband , R. B. Stone,of 42 years before his pasing in 1974, Son, Larry Stone, Grandson, Scott Stone & Great-Granddaughter, Cheri Joslin.
Surviving are Daughter, Rachel & James Clair of Edgewood, TX, Daughter, Anneta & Greg Buenger of Industry, TX, Daughter, Maurine & Robert Pettigrew of Edgewood, TX, Son, Jerry & Diane Stone of Wills Point, TX, Brother, Leb Butler of Grand Saline, TX, Brother, Norman Butler of Grand Prairie, TX, 12 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Other Relatives & Friends.
Pallbearers are Billy Wayne Smith, Johnny Hill, Ronnie Butler, Robert Littlejohn, Jimmy Don Stone & Haward Stone.
Family will receive friends Saturday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
