Albert Arthur Gehrman Jr., 84, of Turtle Lake died May 12 at Barron Riverside Manor. Funeral services are Thursday at 11 a.m. at Parkview United Methodist Church in Turtle Lake, with the Rev. Mike Carlson officiating and burial at lakeview Cemetery in Turtle Lake. Visitation is this Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake and Thursday at the church for 1 hour before the services.

Mr. Gehrman was born Jan. 17, 1919 in Turtle Lake to Albert and Minnie (Bentz) Gehrman. He was a WW II veteran and served with the Army in Algeria, Italy and Sicily. On June 21, 1946 he married Muriel McNeeley at Turtle Lake. Mr. Gehrman worked at Turtle Lake Feed Mill and then was a milk dryer at AMPI in Turtle Lake for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel; a son, Dennis of Turtle Lake; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bertha Marquart of Ellsworth, June Helin of Amery, Betty McDaniel of Blaine, Minn., and Jane Moleter of Cornell; and three brothers, Norman of Spooner, Lyle of Alexandria, Minn., and Milton of Deer Park.
