Matthew's wife Sarah Kirby was the sister of my ancestor, Ruhamah (Kirby) Smith of Dartmouth, Mass. Or if you will, Matthew Allen was the brother-in-law of my ancestor John Smith of Plymouth and last of Dartmouth, Mass.
