Satanta - Lolitta Anna Parker, 102, of Satanta, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit, where she had been a resident since April 2007.

A homemaker, she was born May 13, 1909, in Flat Rock, Ill., to Joseph and Stella Rebecca Ford York.

On March 6, 1935, she married Herman A. Parker in Marshall, Ill. He died Aug. 27, 1975. She also was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Novella Haddican of Satanta, and Nalina Hickman of Shawnee; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.

Private family service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Haskell County Funeral Home, Sublette. Burial will be at Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home, Box 607, Sublette, KS 67877.
