Funeral services were held at the Minco Church of Christ, Saturday afternoon, for Marttin Luther McDaniel, of Binger,
and a former resident of the Minco and Cogar communities. J.D. Bowen officiated, assisted by Lester Stowe. Music was furnished by Mrs Clarence Freeze, Mrs Claude McGee, Larry Freeze, Bun Hoover, & Mrs Lester Stowe. Interment was in the Tuttle cemetery with the Quayle funeral home in charge.
Martin Luther McDaniel was born 1/13/1883 in Arkansas and died 7/2/1952. He was married to Pearl Bryant on 4/13/1913 and they had 3 daughters, one of whom preceded him in death in infancy. He came to Oklahoma as a young man and lived most of his life on his farm at Cogar. In 1950, they moved to Binger, where thay have since resided. He is survived by his wife of the home address, 2 daughters, Mrs Fay McAdams of Mustang & Mrs Gladys Ryburn of Binger, 2 sisters, Mrs Frona Hill of Chickasha & Mrs Ester Petty of Sacramento, Calif, and 1 brother, Duke McDaniel, and 6 grandchildren.
