                  PROMINENT JURIST
                 WEDDED IN DULUTH
                            _____

Special to Dispatch:—
Duluth, Minn., Sept. 4—Hon. W. S. McClenahan, judge of the district court of the 15th judicial district, was married to Miss Rose Poppenberg, of Brainerd at the home of Rev. Father Lynch this evening.
                            _____

The announcement of the wedding was received with much pleasure by the many friends of the happy couple in Brainerd. Miss Poppenberg is the oldest daughter of County Commissioner and Mrs. Henry Poppenberg. She attended the Brainerd high school and is a social favorite of the city, enjoying a wide acquaintance.
The groom, Judge W. S. McClenahan, is widely known to the bar and residents of this state. He bears the distinction of having fewer decisions reversed than almost any other district judge on the bench. He is a most fair minded judge and his opinions are models of concise English and so written that even a layman can understand them.
Judge McClenahan left on the Monday morning train for Duluth and his bride took the afternoon train, thus surprising many of their friends who had no inkling of when the ceremony was to take place.
Their friends, and they are legion, wish them all possible happiness and prosperity in their married life, a wish in which the Dispatch heartily joins them. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 05 September 1911, p. 3, c. 5) [Contributed by John Van Essen]
