Hannah Rebecca Campbell was born on August 11, 1819 in County Tyrone, Ireland. It is believed that her parents were James & Margaret Campbell. She married James Minshall who was from Stockport, England. They met and married after emigrating to America sometime about 1836 or 1837. They bought a farm and settled in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. They had one son, George Henry Minshall who was born on September 23, 1840. The family moved sometime between 1860 and 1870 to Sugar Creek, Walworth County, Wisconsin.
