The body of Frona Opal Pounds was interred in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery, Saturday afternoon, following services from the New Brunswick Church of Christ. She died, June 23, in a nursing home at the age of 70. The Conkle Funeral Home in Speedway was in charge of the arrangements.
She was a member of the Meta Council of Degree of Pochahontas and the Eighth Christian Church.
Survivors include the husband, Otis Pounds; a son, Delbert E. Pounds, an Indianapolis city police officer, and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Stephenson; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Cleo Haffner, Mrs. Vida Bailey and
Golda Ragsdale, all of the Lizton community.
