Vida E. Bailey, 83, R.R. 1, Lizton, died Sunday, April 21, 1974, in Witham Hospital at Lebanon. She is survived by her husband; a brother, Golda Ragsdale, and a sister, Mrs. Cleo Haffner, both of Lebanon.

Services were held April 24 in the Lizton Christian Church with the Rev. James Shockley officiating. Burial was in the K. of P. Cemetery at Lizton.

Vida E. Bailey, age 83, of Lizton died, early Sunday, in the Witham Hospital, Lebanon, where she had been a patient for several days.

A native of New Brunswick, she was born, Oct. 4, 1890, the daughter of George and Eliza Dinsmore Ragsdale. On Feb. 29, 1912, she was married to Edgar Bailey, who survives.

She was a member of the Lizton Christian Church where services were conducted Wednesday morning. The Rev. James Shockley of Danville officiated with burial in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery. The Porter Funeral Home of North Salem was in charge of the arrangements.

Surviving with the husband are two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Haffner and Golda Ragsdale, both of rural Lebanon.
