DOVER-FOXCROFT and OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Catherine S. "Tina" Hall, 83, passed away Aug. 5, 2011, at a Portland hospital after a brief illness. She was born April 30, 1928, in Milo, the daughter of Aubrey and Hattie (Fitz) Strout.

She was married July 4, 1949, to Everett "Shag" Hall, who predeceased her Feb. 1, 1994. Mrs. Hall worked for 28 years at Moosehead Manufacturing Co., and enjoyed reading and doing puzzles, especially crossword puzzles. The most important thing in her life was family, as she constantly put the needs of her children and grandchildren above her own. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her true joy in life, as evidenced by the countless newspaper clippings she saved of their every accomplishment.

She is survived by her daughters, Jean Tibbetts of Sangerville, Jo-Anne LaBelle of Mount Chase and Cheryl Hall of Florida; a sister, Olive Buck of Sebec; a brother, Clarence Strout of Milo; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and one more on the way.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. (Bangor Daily News posted 8/8/2011)
