Landrum, SC - Ruthell Campbell Tucker, 97, formerly of 710 South Howard Street, Landrum died August 6, 2007 at Magnolia Manor. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Minnie Lee Belue Campbell.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and retired from Spartan Mills.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Stewart and husband Grady of Landrum; a sister, Marcelle Pirkle of Greer, three grandsons, Mitchell and John Stewart and Mike Christopher; and four great grandchilden, Logan and Trevor Stewart and Mikey and Zachary Christopher.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Christopher; and brothers and sisters Alex Dean Campbell, Paul Campbell, Juliette Staggs, James Campbell, Marshall Campbell, William Campbell, Kathleen Campbell and Homer Campbell.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm Wednesday at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. John Fortner, Rev. Wayne Bradley and Mr. Dean Campbell. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
