Emma was the daughter of Charles Pitchford & Marcella CLENDENIN. She married Minor Wilson Harrison.

She was of Martin's Branch, but died at the home of her son Kenneth Harrison, Sissonville, WV.

Survivors were husband Minor W. Harrison, two daughters Mrs. Marie Higginbotham of Allens Fork, Mrs. Hassel Bibby of Sissonville Rd; son Milford of Sissonville Road, two brothers Virgil Pitchford of Liberty, and Will Pitchford of Dunbar, a sister Mrs. Della Johnson of Dunbar; two half-brothers, Graves Pitchford of Dunbar and Ivan Pitchford of Liberty; a half sister Mrs. Icy Fisher of Buffalo 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
