Mrs. Icy Fisher
A 25-year resident of Buffalo, Mrs. Icy Pitchford Fisher, died at home yesterday after a one-year illness. She was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church and was born in Liberty, Putnam County.
Surviving are two sons, Dewey F. Jr. of Buffalo and Robert Slaunton of Cleveland; five daughters, Mrs. Cecil W. Martin and Mrs. Stanley Higginbotham, both of Buffalo, Mrs. Boyd F. Marlin of Eleanor, Mrs. W.J. Beller of Tyler Mountain and Miss Sue Carol, at home. Two brothers; Ivan Pitchford of Liberty and Graves Pitchford of Dunbar, two half-brothers, Will Pitchford of Dunbar and Virgil Pitchford of Liberty; a half sister, Mrs. Della Johnson of Dunbar; and 16 grandchildren.
The body is at Cunningham Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence at 4 p.m. today. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Emma Chapel Church, Putnam County, with the Rev. A.A. Smith, pastor of Buffalo Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Emma Chapel Cemetery.

She was the wife of Dewey Frederick Fisher, Sr. however, they were divorced.
She was the daughter of Charles Pitchford & Virginia Farzinia Harrison.
She died from metastic breast cancer.
