Mrs. Holliday was a native of Tippecanoe county, having been born April 26, 1860, the daughter of Thomas and Jane Lake. In 1879 she was married to Perry Holliday, who preceded her in death eight years ago. She was a member of the Newcomer United Brethren church.
Survivors include the son, Russell, with whom she had been making her home; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Fickle, of Mulberry, and Mrs. Elmer Engler, of the Pasteboard neighborhood; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers, James and Thomas Lake, both of Elgin, Okla.
The funeral service was held at the son's residence this morning - Friday. Rev. Frank B. Herzel officiated. Interment was made in the Salem cemetery.
