Mrs. Lillie M. Sanford, age 77 years, died Friday morning in the Model A Nursing Home, Greenfield following a long illness.
Mrs. Sanford was the daughter of the late William H. and Etta Murphy Albea and the widow of Ernest Sanford. She was a member of the Fortville Christian Church, East Vernon Home Economics Club and was a 50-year member of the Hancock County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Cochard, Rt. 2, Greenfield; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, William P. Albea, Rt. 2, Greenfeld; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Ronald Seals Funeral Home in Fortville with Paul Jasper and Rodger Thompson, ministers of the Fortville Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
