TORRINGTON: Wife of Torringford Pastor Dies.
Jessie May Beckwith-Goodenough, wife of Rev. G. Frederick Goodenough, pastor of the Torringford Congregational Church, died at her home at 12 o'clock last night after ten days' illness of peritonitis. She was born in Nepaug thirty years ago, the daughter of G. C. and Frances Beckwith. She leaves her husband and three young children, Dorothy, Frieda and Barbara, her father and brother in Nepaug, and two sisters, Mrs. Hunt of Boston and Miss Lillian Beckwith of Nepaug. The funeral will be held at the Torringford church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. W. F. Stearns, pastor of the Norfolk Congregational church officiating.
